Clozeta is a social layer on top of fashion shopping: you save clothing from any store into closets, share them, and get feedback from friends before buying on the retailer’s own site. This is a plain-language summary of what we collect and how we use it.
What we collect
- Account — your email address (via Supabase Auth) and a profile you create (username, display name, optional avatar URL and bio).
- Content you create — closets, the product snapshots you save (title, brand, price, color, sizes, image URL and the retailer source URL), your notes, reactions, and comments.
- Social graph — friend requests and accepted friendships, used to control who can see friends-only closets.
- Browser extension — when (and only when) you click the Clozeta icon on a page, it reads product details from that single page to pre-fill the save form. It stores your Clozeta session tokens locally in your browser (
chrome.storage.local) so you stay signed in. It does not run in the background, track your browsing, or read pages you don’t explicitly save.
How we use it
Only to provide Clozeta: saving and organizing your closets, sharing them with the people you choose, and showing reactions and comments. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Where your data lives
Data is stored in Supabase (database + auth) and the app is hosted on Vercel. Product images are loaded directly from the original retailer (we don’t re-host them). Access is enforced by row-level security: other users only see your content if you’ve shared it with them (friends or a share link).
Your choices
You can edit or delete your closets, items, and comments at any time, and update your profile. To delete your account and associated data, contact us. Signing out of the extension clears its stored tokens from your browser.
